Kids Judo Classes in Riverview, FL

Help your child build confidence, respect, and strength on the mat.

Youth judo at Dragon Judo Academy gives children a structured, fun, and safe environment to develop physical skills and character. Led by Sensei Javier Siles, a 3rd dan instructor with decades of experience, our kids program emphasizes respect, discipline, and authentic technique.

Why Judo for Kids

Judo is one of the best martial arts for children. Unlike striking arts, judo focuses on balance, throws, and controlled grappling, skills that build body awareness without emphasizing punches or kicks. Children learn to fall safely, control their bodies, and respect training partners.

Research consistently shows martial arts improve children's focus, self-discipline, and social skills. Judo's structured curriculum and emphasis on mutual benefit make it particularly effective for character development.
